Après vous, merci. After you, thank you.
Although I’ve only been blogging through ‘Black ‘n Write’ for about a month (maybe less), I’m happy to have quickly been nominated by lovely blogger A Wordless Blogger. Thank you!
But of course, if it weren’t for people like her, I wouldn’t have been able to continue with what I’ve started, which I’m very excited to continue with. Now continuing on…
5 ‘simple’ Questions:
1) If you could change one thing, what would you change?
Equal or affordable access to reading material. Any kind! I think anybody who has attended post-secondary can say that they’re expected study material was not cheap. Why do they have to be so expensive? It’s outrageous, and then the chance of returning it for a small fee is just that small. I’ve heard somewhere that textbook companies were considering on creating a ebook version of what they already sell in University/College bookstores, this should be interesting, I just hope that they allow apps like highlighting and note taking. On with the future!
2) If you could repeat an age, what would it be?
Probably my mid- to late-teens. Some of the best years of my life, and some of my worst. I think I learned more about myself in those 3-ish years than any other time. Not in the greatest of fashion but still it amazes how much I’ve changed or sacrificed since.
3) What is one thing that really scares you?
I guess scare for me would be phobia. I have this intense fear of being forever alone. Although I am currently with someone, there’s still unfulfilled thought that I am still alone.
4) What is one dream you have not completed, and do you think you’ll be able to complete it?
Dreams? Aspirations? Notches on the bucketlist? Whatever it seems to be called I suppose the one thing I have no completed would be travelling the world. I have no stamps on my passport, which is sad considering I went to Europe and when they checked my passport they gave me no award for stepping foot out of North America. Another thing would be to lose the excess baggage, in more sense than one.
5) If you could be someone else for one day, who would it be?
Honestly, I’ve never given it much thought. I like me. I like who I am and I like what I can be. I’m content with myself. I think if I could see something through someone elses eyes it would be a humanitarian, activist, socialist, environmentalist, or somebody on the other end of things like war lord or suicide bomber. Just to say “I know how you feel now”.
Congratulations to my nominees, although I would’ve given everybody I follow and than some an award, I’ll only limit to 3. Not top 3, just 3 🙂
I highly recommend you check them out as they’re fantastic writers!
Thank you my fellow bloggers for making my blogging worthwhile 🙂
