A story of Loric aliens who seek refuge on Earth after their planet has been taken over by a raging war brought on by the Mogadorians. In I Am Number Four the story focuses primarily on a youth, age fifteen, and his protector or Cêpan as they travel frequently to escape the Mogadores that are hunting the Loric youth. John Smith and Henri wind up eventually coming to Paradise… Ohio. A small town that would be difficult for any Mogadore to remain unseen. In Paradise, John starts to develop his legacies; the special powers that Lorics develop once they reach a certain age, all of which become extremely useful in battle.

I wish I could do a better report on what exactly I read, but this book has so much going on that could wind up turning into spoilers! So hopefully I didn’t give away too much of the story. This is an awesome book nonetheless and eventually I will read the others, and maybe even watch the movie/show affiliated with it because it would be really awesome to see what kind of characters and monsters and the Loric Chimaera (you really need to read this book if you’re curious as to what this means ;))that the creators have conjured up.

Thoughts on the audiobook:
The narrator did an awesome job 🙂 Okay, well, I always laugh a little when it comes to males doing female voices but once you get passed that the book always sounds super interesting. If I were reading I Am Number Four it’d be a page turner.
