Weekly Round Up (#38)

There’s nothing that ever says a shared link has to be from something published this last week. I like to share anything and everything that I have found interesting, even if it’s a few months, and quite possibly a few years old!

My feature consists of an average of 10 links that I fell in love with, or at least felt the need as an information specialist to share with you, whether you’re just an avid book reader or a librarian who hasn’t seen this particular article yet. Sometimes, I share Youtube videos, and maybe I’ll one day be thematic! But for now, please enjoy the following links, and feel free to share your own in the comments down below.

The Links

  1. How do you choose your review books?
  2. Who hasn’t seen Lady Gaga’s new video? Well, for those of you who admit that you haven’t, here it is:

I will admit, I teared up.
  3. Do you have trouble breaking up with your books, well, Tonyalee may have some tips to help through your troubles.
  4. How do you handle the reviews, the ratings, and making sure your voice is heard?
  5. Only cause it’s a bookish result:
Which post-apocalyptic wasteland do you have the best chance of surviving?

Based on my answers I received: Panem 🙂

You’re resourceful, rebellious, and you can handle yourself – perfect qualities for war-torn Panem. You can meet up with Katniss and help her stick it to the man, and hopefully help rebuild a world that doesn’t suck so much. Suggestion: keep some of that Capitol glitter around.

Take your chance on the BookTrib quiz here.

What happened this week?

My book fair was a complete success. For a four-day week, needless to say, it has been chaotic! Last Friday I went to the school’s Carnival Dance, supervising and making sure kids didn’t completely go crazy. And this week was nothing close to I nearly went insane, and I nearly cried when, 30 minutes before the end of work, I thought Friday was Thursday. With the immense thought of: I don’t think I can do another day of this.
