My Favorite Podcasts

I’ve been catching up on my subscribed podcasts, and I thought I should share my top five favorites, some bookish some not-so-much:

Dear Sugar is hosted by Cheryl Strayed and Steve Almond, and this program is like an advice column. Lots of real-life conversations that range from love to religion.

Evil Librarians; hosted by Dustin Fife and Tegan Davis. As fellow librarian I enjoy hearing about the “background” life of other librarians.

Taboo Tales
, a pretty self-explanitory title of what to expect in their content. Some of the content may not be of the faint of heart.

Anybody who’s familiar with Stuart McLean, a famous Canadian author and radio host for CBC, should be listening to The Vinyl Café – which is a great way of catching up on missed episodes which play on the radio.

This is a great stand-up piece at public hosted events where grownups read things they wrote as kids.

Do you have any favorite podcasts (bookish or not)?
